I would absolutely the recommend doing an apprenticeship to others, as it has been such a good routine for me, especially as I struggled with my A-levels. The apprenticeship has allowed me to work at a pace that I'm comfortable with, to enjoy the content that I'm learning and take it in in a way that suits me!

I find that the learning themes give a better insight into the role of a supervisor manager. They also provide information on topics that I don’t automatically associate with my role. I particularly enjoyed the different types of leadership styles. I think it’s really good to understand how different styles can be used in different situations in the workplace and gives me an advantage when looking at a variety of situations in the department and how I can apply this support with outcomes.”

The apprenticeship was a tremendous boost, and as I worked through the programme my knowledge, understanding of retail, and confidence, grew and enabled me to look at the Partnership through management eyes, leading me to adopt management thinking. The themes gave me the confidence and knowledge to navigate a ‘career path’ through the Partnership and not just turn up to ‘a job’. I would whole heartedly recommend the Inspiro Level 4 Retail Manager Apprenticeship.
